Easy to install and very energy efficient
This pump, while being fairly heavy was packaged well for shipping. It arrived on time and undamaged. It was pretty easy to install and also hook up to my pool automation system. There was one glitch in the pentair pool pumps documentation that I had to search through some pool forums to find a fix for, but once I found the error it set up quickly and easily. I added an i Aqua link component to my pool automation system at the same time so can now manage the set up remotely. (This is great for me as it is installed in my winter vacation home). I found it very easy to program, setting multiple programs and varying the speed to optimize pool circulation and energy cost. Since I've installed this pump my energy costs have reduced considerably. I seem to consistently use about 25% less energy than my previous pump so the savings have added up quickly.
